For whatever reason you choose to "Dedicate a Tree" in Heritage Wood you have shown that you share our wish to create a woodland for the future. To ensure that our wood grows into a pleasant and natural haven, for visitors and wildlife, please follow these simple rules:
Dogs are welcome, but please don't let them disturb the wildlife and visitors.
After a while, cut flowers and wreaths look sad and untidy. Please remove them when this is so. However we do reserve the right to remove them when this is appropriate.
Overberry Farm is a busy, working farm. Please keep within the bounds of Heritage Wood.
To keep the wood looking pleasant for all visitors, please take your litter home.
If you wish to make a small garden around your tree it must not be more than 6 feet across and must not include any stones or boulders please.
Please plant bulbs, daffodils, bluebells, crocuses etc.
One small garden ornament only may be placed by the tree. Absolutely
no other ornaments are acceptable
- No flags,
windmills etc.
- No fences or borders of any
kind.
- Nothing is to be attached to the trees.
Please do not heap the soil up around your tree, as this can kill the tree.
